Senior Procurement Engineer - Bartica

Futurist Investments Guyana Inc. is seeking qualified candidates for the role of Senior Procurement Engineer for current and upcoming opportunities supporting Guyana’s oil & gas and industrial projects. Key focus areas include lead technical procurement, vendor evaluation, RFQs and project purchasing. The successful candidate should demonstrate strong safety awareness, technical competence and the ability to work effectively with multidisciplinary teams.

Employment Type: Full-Time

Key Responsibilities

• Execute procurement activities from requisition and RFQ through evaluation, purchase order and delivery.
• Source qualified vendors and obtain competitive commercial and technical offers.
• Coordinate bid evaluations, clarifications, negotiations and approvals with relevant stakeholders.
• Track purchase orders, vendor documentation, expediting and delivery status.
• Apply practical knowledge of Procurement, vendor management, EPC to support safe and effective role execution.
• Ensure procurement activities comply with company procedures, ethical standards and project requirements.

Requirements

• Relevant qualification/certification: Engineering/supply chain.
• Relevant experience: 5+ years.
• Demonstrated capability in Procurement, vendor management, EPC.
• Strong documentation, computer literacy and attention to detail, with the ability to work to deadlines.
• Ability to work at assigned project locations in Guyana and adapt to operational priorities.
• Good communication, teamwork and problem-solving skills; able to work effectively in a multicultural project environment.
