Futurist Investments Guyana Inc. is seeking qualified candidates for the role of Subsea Services Specialist for current and upcoming opportunities supporting Guyana’s oil & gas and industrial projects. The role will support subsea activities across onshore and/or offshore assignments, with a strong focus on safe execution, quality, reliability and effective project delivery.
Employment Type: Full-Time
Key Responsibilities
- Support subsea equipment, systems, installation, inspection or intervention activities as applicable to the role.
- Review procedures, drawings, equipment readiness and operational interfaces before execution.
- Coordinate with vessels, ROV teams, offshore operations, vendors and engineering disciplines.
- Monitor subsea system condition, test results and operational performance and resolve technical issues.
- Apply practical knowledge of Subsea equipment, testing, intervention to support safe and effective role execution.
- Ensure activities comply with offshore HSE, lifting, marine and technical standards.
Requirements
- Relevant qualification/certification: Technical qualification; offshore experience.
- Relevant experience: 3–8+ years.
- Demonstrated capability in Subsea equipment, testing, intervention.
- Strong understanding of HSE, permit-to-work and safe-work practices relevant to the assigned role.
- Ability to work at offshore/project locations and meet applicable medical, safety and rotation requirements.
- Good communication, teamwork and problem-solving skills; able to work effectively in a multicultural project environment.
