Field Specialist Trainee - Toroparu

Futurist Investments Guyana Inc. is seeking qualified candidates for the role of Field Specialist Trainee for current and upcoming opportunities supporting Guyana’s oil & gas and industrial projects. Key focus areas include entry-level field development and service support. The successful candidate should demonstrate strong safety awareness, technical competence and the ability to work effectively with multidisciplinary teams.

Employment Type: Full-Time

Key Responsibilities

• Participate in structured field-service training and supervised on-the-job development.
• Assist with equipment preparation, maintenance, testing and mobilization under qualified supervision.
• Learn field procedures, job documentation, technical systems and customer-service expectations.
• Complete assigned technical, safety and competency-development modules.
• Maintain accurate training and job records and actively seek feedback.
• Demonstrate strong HSE behaviour, adaptability and willingness to work at field locations.

Requirements

• Relevant qualification/certification: STEM degree/diploma; relevant training.
• Relevant experience: Entry Level.
• Demonstrated capability in Field operations, HSE, technical learning.
• Strong understanding of HSE, permit-to-work and safe-work practices relevant to the assigned role.
• Ability to work at assigned project locations in Guyana and adapt to operational priorities.
• Good communication, teamwork and problem-solving skills; able to work effectively in a multicultural project environment.
